Overview In today’s world of work, more and more emphasis is being laid on team rather than individual performance. Individuals find themselves in situations where they have to adapt to the working styles of others and still continue to perform. Further, they have to constantly find ways of contributing to the team’s performance.
Outbound Management Development Programmes (OMDPs) provide a unique experience through which individuals can learn about the functioning of teams. Through this model, participants will have the opportunity to examine in detail the elements that they need to develop to practice fully the principles in becoming a high performance team.

Objectives
To help participants experientially understand the principles of synergistic teamwork with the opportunity to use the principles in becoming a high performance team in executing projects, and achieving targets within specific timelines.

Methodology
During the activities, participants will have the opportunity to coach and train each other, as well as actually physically look after each others’ safety and well being.

The methodology of the programme is based on the following beliefs:

1. Experience.
While we are all knowledgeable, the focus is on the development of wisdom.
This is achievable only through direct experience.

2. Responsibility.
This is based on the maxim that “Nothing can be taught, but everything can be learned”.
The method holds each participant responsible for his or her own learning.

3. Choice.
During the course of the programme, individuals are challenged by the choices they have to make.
It is from the consequences of these choices that learning follows.
